this happens to be the first wedding i attended sa mga kapatid natin sa iglesia (at kasama pa ako sa entourage) and i have to say i am very, very impressed. you can really feel the solemnity of the event - held at the central chapel sa may commonwealth avenue (my friends, correct me if i'm wrong sa mga terms, etc).

reception was at the gazebo royale along visayas avenue. the food was great and we get to be serenaded by the manila philharmonic orchestra.

they obviously took the line of thinking - we waited 16 years, let's not waste it by scrimping, planning poorly or being satisfied with "pwede na".

cie: we been friends (and not friends hehe) for a long time, through good times and bad (and even through our worst times), we know each other well that i don't have to tell you anything except that i am very happy for you.

sai: you are a very lucky man. i don't know why it took you this long to decide na hindi dapat pinapakawalan ang mga taong ganito, but i'm glad you realized it in the end. you take care of my friend.

edit: text nyo si cie. sabihin nyo nawala/kinuha yung chocolates nyo sa table. you'll get a surprise :)
